The garden

As the garden moves into its autumn phase, I have been particularly impressed by the fat and overblown daturas, known for good reason, as The Devil’s Trumpet:-

I videoed daturas opening in the evening in France a few years ago. The process was started by bees and it took more than half an hour for them to unfurl, rather like opening an umbrella, fascinating to watch. Beautiful photos as always.
