I videoed daturas opening in the evening in France a few years ago. The process was started by bees and it took more than half an hour for them to unfurl, rather like opening an umbrella, fascinating to watch. Beautiful photos as always.

Datura are extraordinary flowers. There are particularly fine examples in Naplion in Greece.
