I was able to attend the press launch of the new, revived and revitalised Royal Academy Schools after a long-planned and intelligent reworking of them by David Chipperfield Architects.
What Chipperfield and Julian Harrap are brilliant at is doing a quite radical renewal, but keeping the spirit of the original intact:-

I was particularly pleased to see the new displays, overseen by Cathie Pilkington, in the the Dunard Fund Life Drawing Studio:-
