Magnificent ! My grandfather had a flat in No 1, from which I watched the Coronation, but I never went up on the roof. What a panorama !
We’re in London at the moment and seeing some of these similar views. It’s a long time since we were here in the depths of winter but it does have a special beauty at this time. Yesterday we walked round Spitalfields and stood gazing at Hawksmoor’s church and I thought of some of your earlier blog entries.
