I am (unusually) doing a post purely in order to promote something at the Royal Academy, having had Sunday lunch in the new-ish Senate Room restaurant upstairs in Burlington Gardens where we were able to enjoy the attention to detail.

It is indeed wonderful, and the food is very good !
It is a hidden gem at the moment and shouldn’t be. My daughter and I had a delightful lunch there a couple of weeks ago
Yes, that’s my feeling exactly. It has taken a bit of time to get up-and-running, but is serving delicious food (not to mention the bar). Charles
