We stayed very near where you are a few years ago and it’s one of the most entrancing places we’ve visited. Managed also to get to Verona Arena for Travitata, something I’d always wanted to do but not so easy from Tasmania as from Europe.
Yes, it’s immensely beautiful and easy to understand why people have flocked here – mountains, the lake, relatively unspoiled and a strong sense of its history.
