I have been mildly taken to task for using the word ‘poop’ to describe what is floating about the English Channel, thanks to the Tory party voting in favour of it. I agree that it is possibly a euphemism and have been told that I should have used good old, Anglo-Saxon usage. We are now surrounded by a sea of SHIT. Our green and pleasant land is now entirely brown.
