I had the former offices of YRM pointed out to me this morning: an early office block – 1961 – next door to the churchyard of the former St. Dunstan’s in the West.  At the time it was described as ‘an oasis of quality in the midst of quantity’.  It looks so polite and almost domestic by today’s standards.

FRS Yorke lived in an apartment on the top floor:-
